The Egyptian League newcomers got off their campaign to a disastrous start, suffering five successive defeats.

"Youssef's job is safe. We just had bad luck in the matches we played," Oqeila told FilGoal.com.

"We create many clear-cut chances every match but we squander them."

Youssef, who took over at the club in the summer, is yet to replicate the success he had with Al-Gaish last season.

He steered military club Al-Gaish to an impressive fourth-place finish last term.
