العابدي في أحد لقاءات القمة
Zamalek defender Wissem El-Abdi stormed out of Thursday’s training session after engaging in a heated exchange with coach Reiner Hollmann and the team’s skipper Ayman Abdul-Aziz.
German tactician Hollmann reproached the Tunisian defender for appearing overly-relaxed in training. So did Abdul-Aziz.
But El-Abdi reacted furiously and left Zamalek’s training in protest at the way Hollmann and Abdul-Aziz dealt with him.
The 26-year-old’s future with the Cairo giants remains unclear as he was widely criticized for committing costly errors lately.
El-Abdi, who joined Zamalek from Sfaxien in January 2007, was linked with a move to Tunisia’s Esperance in the close season but he stayed put.
But the latest row could mark the end of the players’ career with the Egyptian Cup holders.
