The midfielder underwent a scan on his right foot on Saturday after twisting his ankle during Zamalek's 4-2 win over Telecom Egypt on Friday.
The scan results will show on Sunday whether the 30-year-old will be fit to feature in the Tersana game or not.
Meanwhile, The Whites' full back Ahmed Ghanem expressed his fury at the yellow card he received during the Telecom clash.
"I was surprised to get cautioned after the half time whistle was blown," Ghanem told FilGoal.com.
"All I did was politely asking the referee why a Telecom player wasn’t penalized for fouling me."
