Amr Zaki's lack of English language is not affecting communication with his Wigan teammates' in any negative form, striking partner Emile Heskey said on Monday.

The Egyptian international has brilliantly adapted with life in the Premiership since his summer loan move to Wigan from Zamalek, scoring five goals in six games.

"When you are playing football it is more than talking, it is telepathic," Heskey told Sky Sports.

"Communication is difficult when you try to explain some stuff but Zaki has done brilliantly since he came here, scoring five league goals."

The flourishing Zaki-Heskey partnership helped Wigan overcome Manchester City 2-1 on Sunday lifting the club to a surprising tenth position in the Premiership.

"It is massive for us. We looked at table this morning and we were staring at the relegation zone, although it is early in the season," added the England striker.
