The deal was struck on Wednesday as the leading mobile network company beat off competition from several other candidates.
Ahli's rapport with Vodafone emerged in 2002, when the company began operating in Egypt under the name 'Click'.
During that era, Ahli clinched a host of trophies throughout the past five years, including two CAF Champions League titles.
The Reds have also dominated on the domestic level, with four consecutive league titles to their record since 2004-2005.
Glorious
"This is a glorious deal by all means," Vodafone brand manager Osman Badran told FilGoal.com.
"Ahli and Vodafone are two giant entities, maintaining the partnership will be vital for both parties.
"We had the honor of being sponsors of Ahli since 2002, and we have vastly benefited from the club's reputation.
"On the other hand, Vodafone's worldwide status encouraged Ahli to extend the deal for a further spell.
"I think we will benefit from the company's past experience with European champions Manchester United, in a way that can serve our goals regarding the deal with Ahli."
