Inter striker Hernan Crespo spoke of his dismay at the way he is being treated at the club.

After being excluded from the team’s UEFA Champions League squad, the Argentine has only played 21 league minutes under new coach Jose Mourinho.

“There’s no doubt that my case should’ve been dealt with better,” Crespo told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Nobody explained to me the reasons behind my exclusion from the Champions League side. I am not a kid and can understand things.”

Crespo stressed that despite his growing frustration, he doesn’t have any problems with Mourinho.

“I have never dreamed of protesting against a tactician’s decisions and I’m not going to start now. I am not angry with Mourinho. He is a great Coach,” he added.

At 33 years of age, Crespo stressed that he can’t afford spending another year as a benchwarmer at Inter.

“I certainly still feel like a player and therefore want to play. If I am locked down here, then I’ll seek another solution.”
