Massa scores twice in Uganda win

Telecom Egypt striker Geofrey Massa netted twice to lead Uganda to a 2-1 victory over Benin that did them no favor in their bid to reach the World Cup qualifiers' final phase.

Uganda trailed to Stephane Sessegnon's first-half goal but Massa struck twice in the space of five second-half minutes to seal the victory for his side.

The 22-year-old striker is yet to open his account for Telecom Egypt in the domestic league.

Despite their win, Uganda missed out on securing a place in the final phase of the qualifiers after finishing third in Group 3. Benin advanced as the group winners.
