Banha left-back Abdul-Baki Mohamed claimed that Ahli and Zamalek are both interested in acquiring his services in January.

The Egypt U-20 international was recently handed a trial with Ahli's youth team, as he revealed that Reds officials were impressed by his displays.

In the same manner, the up-and-coming full-back declared that he is set to join Zamalek youth team on trial basis within the upcoming few days.

"I went on trial with Ahli's youth. Maher Hammam (coach) and Ahmed Maher (youth sector head) were impressed and negotiated a contract with me, but nothing is agreed yet," Abdul-Baki told FilGoal.com.

"I also received a trial offer from Zamalek, and I should join their youth team on trial soon."

Despite winning the interest from Egypt's top duo, Abdul-Baki stressed that he will not enter any negotiations unless his club is approached directly.

"I was offered a pre-contract from Zamalek via agent Osama Metri, but I will not sign any papers unless the interested teams contact Banha officially," he added.

It is believed that Abdul-Baki has caught the eye of former Zamalek star and current board member Hazem Emam, who recommended the signing of the 19-year-old.
