"We were struggling with poor fitness as well as too many injuries, but the international break gave us time to heal," Hollmann said in a press conference.
The German confirmed that he is yet to demand the transfer of any Zamalek player, adding that he is now fully focused on preparing the team for the upcoming games.
"I'll only be thinking about new additions comes January. For now we only want to win our next league game against Gaish."
Meanwhile, Hollmann stressed that arch rivals Ahli should play all their postponed games before the proposed Cairo derby in order to maintain equal opportunities.
"Zamalek board will submit a request to the Football Association demanding the derby to be held after Ahli play their postponed matches."
After serving a four-month suspension, The Whites' shall have playmaker Mahmoud Abdul-Razeq 'Shikabala' back for the team against Olympic on October 24th.
"Shikabala will have to prove himself in order to earn a first team place," commented Hollmann on Shikabala's return.
