Inter coach Jose Mourinho said his team are well capable of beating AS Roma when the two teams meet in Seria A on Sunday.

The former Chelsea man showed respect for both Roma and their coach Luciano Spalletti but still affirmed that he fears no one.

"Afraid? I don’t know what fear is in football. Some people forget I've won four league titles and know well how to succeed in these competitions," Mourinho was quoted as saying by Football Italia.

Roma are having a bad spell after winning just two games out of their first six in the league.

"Luciano Spalletti's work speaks for him. He had a few unexpected defeats at the start but he has the support of everyone thanks to the quality of what he has done for this team."

Besides Luis Figo, Luis Jimenez, Nelson Rivas, Marco Materazzi and Maxwel who are all injured for Inter, Nicolas Burdisso and Patrick Viera are also doubtful to face Roma.

"We have an emergency situation in midfield, and those who are in good shape must work hard," added the Portugese.

Meanwhile, Spalletti said that the Inter team can be a turning point for his team.

"I'm sure we have everything to win this game. It's our chance to give a practical response to our critics on the pitch," Spalletti said.

Spalletti will have Francesco Totti at his disposal after the player's long lay off, however, the former Sampdoria coach isn’t sure if he'll play the skipper or not.

"I need time to think about playing Totti, he has improved a great deal and he has something more than the other players and can give the team a real hand."
