Essam Al-Hadari's Sion reached the Swiss Cup round of 16 after defeating Le Mont LS 5-2 on Sunday.

Hungarian full-back Vilmos Vanczak needed 11 minutes to put Sion ahead.

Nigerian striker Saidu Adeshina doubled Sion's advantage midway through the first half but Le Mont's Christophe Guemoun pulled one back shortly after.

Adeshina scored his second of the night four minutes before the break to restore Sion's two-goal cushion.

Yane Bugnard once again narrowed the gap after converting a penalty but a second-half brace from Sion midfielder Virgile Reset put the result beyond doubt.

Egypt goalkeeper Al-Hadari played the full game.

The former Ahli guardian said recently that he will leave Sion for a bigger club when the transfer window reopens in January.
