Manchester United left back Patrice Evra will be out of his team's UEFA Champions League clash against Glasgow Celtic on October 21st due to injury.

The Frenchman had to be taken off before half time during United's 4-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday after picking up a hamstring injury.

Evra made a brief return to United's Monday training but couldn’t complete the whole session.

"It is too big a risk with hamstrings. I think that he will be okay to play on Saturday against Everton but not tomorrow," United boss Alex Ferguson told Sky Sports News.

Either John O'Shea or youngster Johnny Evans is set to replace Evra in the Red Devils' line up against their British neighbors.

Ferguson is expected to include midfielder Anderson and striker Carlos Tevez against Celtic after the pair missed the West Brom win due to late arrival from international duty.
