The Reds will play in Alexandria with their minds focused on the CAF Champions League final clash with Coton Sport next week.
Apart from that, Ahli are looking to enhance their league position as they lie eighth due to having a number of matches postponed.
Angolan winger Gilberto will miss the game with a groin injury, whereas Hani Al-Egaizi and Ahmed Farag were omitted from the squad.
However, Qatar striker Hussein Yasser returns to action after missing the team's last three games with an injury.
Yasser is unlikely to make his full debut for Manuel Jose's team though, as Flavio Amado and Ahmed Belal could start upfront.
Ittihad Unstable
On the other hand, Ittihad coach Taha Basri hopes to get over the state of unrest inside the club in late, following the 2-0 defeat to Harras Al-Hodoud last week.
Abdul-Hamid Hassan and Mahmoud Sobhi were both involved in a scuffle with Ittihad fans in training, only two days before the Ahli game.
Moreover, former Ahli striker Hassan was also reported to be in a dispute with strike partner Sameh Youssef.
However, chairman Mohamed Moselhi promised the team extra bonuses if they registered 'a positive result' against Ahli.
