Mohamed and Soliman (R) to stay at Petrojet

Petrojet coach Mokhtar Mokhtar insisted that influential duo Walid Soliman and Osama Mohamed are going nowhere despite attracting interest from a host of clubs.

Widespread reports linked lively full-back Mohamed with a move to Zamalek, who have shortage of options in that position.

Mohamed heavily impressed this season, providing his teammates with numerous assists to help surprise package Petrojet occupy the summit of the Egyptian League.

Zamalek's arch-rivals Ahli have been also long-term admirers of the 29-year-old.

Midfielder Soliman, who scored two goals in the league so far, put in some superb displays to earn a call-up to Egypt’s squad.

“We will not offload any players. On the contrary, we are seeking reinforcements in January,” Mokhtar told FilGoal.com.

Petrojet’s football supervisor Mounir Kamel revealed that the club want to sign a new striker to fill in for Ivorian Zeka Goory, who invoked a release clause to join Emirate side Wasl.

The petroleum club have also opened talks with veteran striker Alaa Ibrahim to extend his contract, which runs out at the end of the season.

Former Ahli frontman Ibrahim was crowned the league’s top scorer last season with 15 goals.
