Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is planning to boost his attacking options by signing Wigan striker Amr Zaki and Yakubu Aiyegbeni of Everton in January.

English newspaper Guardian reported that the newly appointed coach is lining up bids for the two forwards.

Egyptian hitman Zaki is currently on loan at Wigan from Zamalek, and his impressive Premiership start caught interest from various party including Spurs and Manchester City.

Wigan boss Steve Bruce said he'd do his utmost to keep Zaki at Wigan, but if Spurs can meet Zamalek's asking price, the striker could leave the Latics soon.

However, Yakubu might be an easier target for Redknapp as the Nigerian lost his place in Everton's first team, and it seems club coach David Moyes would let him leave at the right price.
