Middlesbrough striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' has fully recovered from injury and now is set to take part in his side's upcoming Premier League match against West Ham United on Saturday.

The Egyptian international had a minor hamstring problem, and was sidelined for the past few days as a result.

Boro coach Garth Southgate has already included recently-recovered Tuncay Sanli in the starting line-up, which means either Mido or Afonso Alves would be benched.

Southgate was quoted by Middlesbrough official website as saying the Turkish forward's impact has been drastic since his recuperation.

Mido's compatriot Mohamed Shawky will definitely miss the game, as he will be out for three weeks with a thigh injury.

Southgate's men currently lie in ninth place, and they are keen to gain three points against the Hammers to move up.
