Lyon hot shot Karim Benzema confirmed that he will move to Spain next year as he has no doubts about his ability to play at the highest level.

Despite the fact that he is strongly linked with European champions Manchester United, the France striker wants a move to any of Spain's top two Barcelona or Real Madrid.

"My future? I like Spain. Next year I will play for Barca or Madrid," he told France's Stade 2 program.

"Some people have said I cannot play at the highest level. How ridiculous? I have a lot to learn and am still growing.

"I am only 20 and am working hard to improve all the time."

After finishing last season as French Ligue 1 top scorer with 20 goals, Benzema currently tops the league goal-charts with eight strikes.
