Japan's Gamba Osaka are halfway through Asian Champions League glory after beating Adelaide United of Australia 3-0 in the first leg final on Wednesday.

First half goals from Brazilian forward Lucas and Japan international Yasuhito Endo gave the home side a two-goal lead at the break.
