Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has been ruled out of Los Merengues' upcoming match against Malaga due to physical unfitness, coach Bernd Schuster said.

The Dutch ace hasn't fully recuperated from a knee injury, and needs more time to make his comeback.

"All I can say is that he will not play tomorrow. They've run some tests, and as far as I know he isn't available," the German manager told Real's website.

On the other hand, Mahamadou Diarra and Guti are expected to get back to action after fully recovering from injuries.

Spain right-back Sergio Ramos will not be available though after sustaining a foot injury during Real's 2-0 Champions League defeat to Juventus.

"Diarra and Guti are perfectly healthy. Sergio couldn't even get his foot into his boot this morning. It's very swollen and we need to wait until tomorrow, but we think he will be better," Schuster added.

Title holders Real lie third in the Primera Liga table with 20 points, trailing leaders Barcelona by two.
