Roma boss Luciano Spalletti wants his side to end their winless run in Serie A by building on their refreshing 3-1 victory over Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League.

The Giallorossi are struggling in the relegation zone after a series of defeats, but last Tuesday's triumph gave them a moral boost ahead of their Bologna match on Saturday.

"I feel good and the team are training with a renewed calm,” Spalletti was quoted by Calcio Italia as saying.

"The spirit always makes the difference and we need to translate the enthusiasm we have shown in training into results."

The 49-year-old emphasized on the importance of staying sharp, saying they need to atone for their unsatisfactory results.

"We must remember that we need to keep working hard because we may have beaten Chelsea but we have lost to a number of other sides," he added

"We will only start talking about the League table again if we can pick up some more results."
