Real Madrid have been disqualified from Copa del Rey on Tuesday despite beating Real Union 4-3 in the fourth round return leg.

Union’s Abasolo scored the opener two minutes before the quarter hour mark, and then the Spanish champions skipper Raul Gonzalez canceled it out on 36 minutes.

The third division side took the lead again when Salcedo struck on 48 minutes, but shortly after the veteran forward netted another leveler.

Alberto Bueno put Los Merengues ahead on 68 minutes before Raul completing his hat-trick 4 minutes from time.

Eventually, Romo’s last-gasp killer was enough for Real Union to go through to the last 16 on the away-goal rule after a 6-6 aggregate draw with the capital side.

Real Madrid have been stumbling since their 2-0 loss to Juventus in the UEFA Champions League, and now they will most probably face more criticism.
