Lahm has been out of action since October 21st after he sustained a foot injury in Bayern's 3-0 Champions League victory over Fiorentina.
But he has fully recovered and is likely to start Bayern's match against Monchengladbach.
"He will play," Bayern manager Jurgen Klinsmann told the club's official website on Friday.
Versatile midfielder Ze Roberto successfully filled in for Lahm during the past month.
The Brazilian is expected to return to the heart of Bayern's midfield to partner Mark van Bommel following the recovery of Lahm.
Title holders Bayern lie third in the Bundesliga table with 24 points, just one adrift of joint leaders Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim.
