Ismaili played down reports claiming that team forward Mostafa Karim had traveled to Iraq without the club's permission.

The costal club general director Abdul-Rahman Anous said on Saturday the Iraqi player flew home to join his country's Olympic team.

"The Iraqi Football Association sent us an official request to include Karim in the Olympic team roster, and we agreed," he told FilGoal.com.

Some reporters fueled speculations over the absence of the 21-year-old over the past few days, alleging that he went abroad to hold talks with other club.

The Ismaili top scorer was substituted during the first-half of the 3-2 victory over Ittihad, when the latter were two goals ahead.

The unexpected substitution suggested that he might be having a dispute with the coaching staff.

In the same manner, the player's agent Mohamed Shiha assured FilGoal.com that the 21-year-old fully abides by his contractual clauses, and has no intention to seal a new move.

The Iraqi ace has scored five goals for the Dervishes so far in this season.
