Senegal striker Henri Camara scored the winning goal as Wigan secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Everton, in the absence of Amr Zaki.

Steve Bruce's side missed their top marksman due to injury, but Camara did well to fill in the Egyptian's boots.

The 31-year-old scored six minutes into the second half, after coming in for Olivier Kapo in the break.

The victory helped the Latics get off the relegation zone with 16 points in 15th place, while Everton remained seventh with 22.
