Egypt coach Hassan Shehata believes that the Pharaohs will rise to the occasion when they take on heavyweights Brazil and Italy in the FIFA Confederations Cup.

In the competition which will be held in South Africa in June, Egypt have been drawn in Group B along with Brazil, Italy and USA.

"Egypt will play three World Cup qualifiers before flying to South Africa," the tactician told FilGoal.com.

"Winning the games that precede the competition would definitely be a morale boost for us."

The 'Master' reaffirmed that his players are capable of facing the most intimidating teams on the planet.

On the other hand, he's convinced that South Africa have much easier challenges in the premier Competition.

The hosts have been drawn in Group A alongside Spain, Iraq and New Zealand.

"I agree with pundits' suggestions that South Africa have good chance to qualify for the semi-finals," he added.
