Blackburn Rovers manager Paul Ince said he was impressed by Egyptian winger Ahmed Al-Muhammadi, who is undergoing a trial at the Premiership club.
The ENPPI player spent several days in England in an attempt to convince Ince that he has the sufficient quality to play in the elite competition.
"The Egyptian lad is decent, he has got a lot about him and we have a Norwegian lad in, Tore Reginiussen, who looks good," Ince was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"But it will take time, it will be a couple of weeks before we get to look at them in games and that sort of stuff."
The 21-year-old would have a chance to further impress Ince when ENPPI meet Cairo giants Ahli in an Egyptian League clash on Sunday.
Right wing-back Al-Muhammadi, who can also play as a striker, scored three goals so far this season.
