"Magdi is a very good player who will be a valuable addition to our frontline," Refaat told Zamalek's official website on Thursday.
"The player has penned a four-year contract with Zamalek. He will join the team's training as soon as possible."
The 19-year-old came through Ismaili's youth ranks before joining UAE second-division side Ras Al-Khaima in the summer of 2007.
He underwent a trial at Austrian side SK Sturm Graz but he eventually remained at Al-Khaima.
