Zamalek face Ismaili

Zamalek are looking for their first win in three games when they clash with close rivals Ismaili in the Egyptian league on Sunday.

The Cairo club dropped seven points from their last three games to lie fourth in the league table, ten points behind leaders Petrojet.

However, Zamalek played three less matches than the table-toppers as they have a chance to go forward with a win over the Dervishes.

Ismaili, on the other hand, will aim to stop the Whites from going past them, whilst they can close in on Petrojet.

Team News

Zamalek have a crisis in attack, with first-choice pair Junior Agogo and Gamal Hamza unavailable for the game, while Abdul-Halim Ali was left out.

Agogo serves a three-match suspension for improper conduct, whereas Hamza is banned by the club. So does foreign duo Wissem El-Abdi and Ricardo Alves.

Skipper Ayman Abdul-Aziz is out injured. Nonetheless, Mohamed Aboul-Ella is back again after his ban was lifted.

On the other hand, Ismaili welcome back influential striker Mohamed Fadl, who spent the past few weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Coach Ricardo Ferreira is set to leave out Iraq striker Mostafa Karim of the starting line-up for 'technical reasons'.

Center-half Moatassem Salem is suspended and reserve goalkeeper Mohamed Fathi is injured.
