Borussia Dortmund, whom Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan plays for were held to a goalless draw at home by Wolfsburg on Sunday.

Borussia Dortmund, whom Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan plays for, were held to a goalless home draw by Wolfsburg on Sunday.

Zidan started the game for Dortmund but he was taken off on 58 minutes, as neither he nor his teammates managed to pose any real threat on their visitors.

Dortmund are currently sixth in the Bundesliga with 25 points, while Wolfsburg are eighth with 23.

Also in Germany, VFB Stuttgart new coach Markus Babbel started his reign at the club with a 2-0 win over Schalke.

Jan Simak and Mario Gomes scored the winning goals for the home side on the 79th and the 83rd minutes respectively.

Stuttgart are tenth in the table with 21 points, two less than ninth-placed Schalke.
