Egypt and Sion keeper Essam Al-Hadari called on the club chairman-coach Christian Constantin to re-open the north side stands during the Swiss League home matches.

Constantin has been repeatedly booed by sections of the crowd since taking over as interim coach earlier in the season.

After getting fed up with the jeers, the under-fire president banned the third-class fans from attending home matches.

Although he got his fair share of criticism, the 36-year-old keeper urged Constantin to allow Sion's supporters to attend the next matches.

The former Ahli guardian believes the presence of spectators is a matter of the utmost importance, because they boost the team and help them pull off better results.

The Swiss club said on their official website that Constantin will consider Al-Hadari's request carefully.
