"Petrojet's officials inquired about our demands to sell Nagib," The Mahalla-based club president Mahmoud Al-Shami told FilGoal.com.

"Our final decision will be made when I arrive in Egypt," the chairman, who went on a pilgrimage to Mecca, added.

Al-Shami was elected as a board member in the Egyptian football association (EFA) last week, which might contradict with his duties as a club chairman.

Baladeya's Nagib came across as a competent sweeper, which might help the Egyptian League leaders maintain their supremacy should they aquire his services.
Petrojet are topping the Egyptian League table with 28 points, four ahead of second-placed ENPPI.
