Zamalek striker Gamal Hamza is set to get back to training with the senior team after serving an internal suspension, football director Ahmed Refaat declared.

"Hamza is going to rejoin the first team's training sessions after Harras Hodoud encounter in the Egyptian League," the football director told Al-Hayah T.V.

The 27-year-old was banned a month ago along with Osama Hassan, Ricardo Alves, Mohamed Aboul-Ella and Wissem Abdi as a disciplinary measure.

All suspended players have been reprieved except for Tunisian defender Abdi, which suggests that his days at the Cairo-based club will soon come to an end.

Beforehand, Hamza revealed that if he didn't receive a worthwhile overseas offer, he would renew his contract with the White Knights.

He was once tipped to move to Ahli, but he assured that the six-time African champions is not going to be his next destination.
