Gamal Hamza and Mohamed Aboul-Ella were dropped from Zamalek's squad for Harras Al-Hodoud game in the Egyptian League on Monday.

Both players were banned by the club but the suspension was lifted last week and the duo was expected to be named in the 20-man squad for the game.

But caretaker manager Ahmed Refaat overlooked Hamza and Aboul-Ella as he announced the squad on Sunday.

Refaat took over after Zamalek parted ways with German coach Reiner Hollmann last week.

He also stuck with the five youngsters, who were promoted to the first team by Hollmann.
