Milan and Juventus beat Catania and Lecce respectively on Sunday to keep chasing Inter Milan towards the Serie A title.

In Milan, Kaka scored the only goal of the game as his side grabbed a hard-fought victory over Catania.

The Brazilian playmaker connected with a corner-kick in the 65th minute to send a header that took a slight deflection before settling into the back of the net.

It is Kaka's fifth goal of the season, one behind compatriot and Milan top scorer Ronaldinho.

Milan are third on 30 points, level with Juventus, who lie second on goal difference following a late 2-1 victory over Lecce.

Sebastian Giovinco put Juve ahead with a marvelous 57th-minute free-kick.

Juve looked on their way to lose two precious points when Daniele Cacia volleyed a smart left-footer into the back of the net three minutes from time.

But Amauri headed home from inside the box in the dying seconds to keep Juventus in the hunt.

Inter Milan are in charge of the Italian League on 36 points.
