Pachuca captain and goalkeeper Miguel Calero said on Friday that his team is ready to entertain Japanese football fans at the FIFA Club World Cup.

"We are here to enjoy ourselves; the atmosphere around the team is much better than it was last year," said the colossal keeper.

Calero insisted that he and his teammates are determined to do better this time around.

"We are very enthusiastic and determined to win. We want to show the Japanese people how well we can play.

"For some players in our team, this tournament is especially important because they are retiring and it might be their last," he added.

When asked about the new ball that will be introduced at the CWC, Calero said: "It will cause trouble for keepers because it is very light," he said.

"But i trained with it and hiopefully there will be no problem. In fact, i believe my teammates can use the ball to their advantage."

Pachuca take on Egyptian giants Ahli on in the first quarter-final in Tokyo on Saturday.
