Ismaili midfielder Samuel Johnson stressed that he'd only be playing in Egypt for the Dervishes, adding that he will move abroad if the club board release him.

"I'm still fulfilling a three-year contract at Ismaili, and I have no intention of leaving the club for any other Egyptian side at the moment," Johnson told FilGoal.com.

"All I'm focused on now is to regain my place in the team."

Media reports suggested that the Ismaili board want to release or sell Johnson alongside Iraqi attacker Mostafa Karim, to make way for new foreign signings.

"If the club decide to release me, I will accept their decision. I will then return to my country before joining any other club outside Egypt."

The Guinean has earlier revealed that several Gulf and foreign clubs were interested in luring him in case he leaves Ismaili.

It is worth noting the Egyptian League rules prohibit any club from registering more than three foreigners in their squad.
