The Frenchman, who is eyed by his previous club Zamalek, couldn't keep the South African side on an even keel, and his departure seems imminent.
According to South African newspaper Daily News, it would be an uphill struggle for the relegation-threatened team to get back in contention for the local league title after suffering recurring losses.
The out-of-sorts outfit are now languishing in the 11th place, and reportedly club chairman Patrice Motsepe has run out of patience.
On the other hand, Michel's unpleasant status could pave the way for the Cairo giants to reinstate him.
The White Knights have already started talks with the the 61-year-old, but haven't reached an agreement so far.
Down-And-Out
Zamalek, who fired German tactician Reiner Hollmann weeks ago, are now under the management of caretaker coach Ahmed Refaat.
The five-time African champions failed to chalk up a single victory in their last half dozen of matches, and they are facing a baptism of fire as a result.
Consequently, the beleaguered team are in dire need to snap up a competent boss to put an end to their winless run and stuttering form.
Beforehand, Michel ended his average spell with the 11-time Egyptian champions all of a sudden, before Morocco took him on.
Later on, the Lions of the Atlas gave him his pink slip after suffering a first-round elemination from the African Cup of Nations.
Even though he couldn't settle down in one place for long, it's widely believed the Frenchman could help Zamalek overcome their chronic deteriorated condition.
