Ismaili have ended the recent conflict over young striker Islam Magdi by signing a new contract with the player.

Magdi was one of six youth players, who left Ismaili last year for Emirate side Raas Al-Khaima.

Zamalek have earlier revealed that the 18-year-old signed an initial contract with the club, before Ismaili tied him up with a new deal.

"Magdi signed a new four-year contract worth EGP 150 thousand with Ismaili." Board member Waleed Al-Kilani told FilGoal.com.

"He returned the EGP 400 thousand installment he received from Zamalek to the Cairo club," Al-Kilani added.

Magdi, who can also play as an attacking midfielder was called up for the Egyptian under 21 team on several occasions.
