Disappointing draw for Ismaili
Ismaili were eliminated from the last 32 phase of the Egyptian Cup by second division side Dakhlia, who beat the Dervishes 1-0 in Cairo on Wednesday.

The only goal of the game was scored by striker Hussein Farouk in the 67th minute when he capitalized on Moatassem Salem's poor clearance to notch home a close-range volley.

Apart from the shocking defeat, Ismaili had Mohamed Hommos booked in the second half, which means the influential skipper will miss the crucial league clash with Ahli on January 3rd.

Dakhlia, who are currently third in Group two of Egyptian second division, were rarely troubled by Ismaili at Tersana Stadium and could have added more to their lead.

But Farouk's goal was enough to send them to the last 16 phase for the first time ever.
