National Sports Council (NSC) chief Hassan Sakr appointed a new temporary Zamalek board, which will be headed by former vice-president Mohamed Amer.

Amer, who was Zamalek’s acting president since the resignation of Mamdouh Abbas, quit his post before his re-appointment as president of the club’s temporary committee.

Alongside Amer, the committee will include Abdullah George Saad, Alaa Al-Azhari, Hanafi Reyad, Hazem Yassine, Ahmed Bakri and Mohamed Ibrahim as board members.

FilGoal.com can confirm that the committee will step down in case Sakr wins his appeal to hold early presidential elections at Zamalek.

In case the appeal is overruled, the elections will take place on July 2009 as earlier scheduled.
