Ismaili decided to discuss potential deals and current players' new contracts after the pivotal game against Ahli, according to the Dervishes chairman Nasr Aboul-Hassan.

Striker Mohamed Fadl had previously set January 3rd as a final date for the coastal side to decide on his future, saying he would otherwise move away from the club.

Apparently, the boardroom took his threat lightly, as the encounter against Ahli is taking place after the aforesaid deadline.

"We are going to look into our players' status after Ahli clash, not in the meantime," the president told FilGoal.com.

The international footballer, whose contract runs out by the end of the current season, has reportedly received an offer from Zamalek.

A while back, the 28-year-old named his requirements for contract extension, and urged Ismaili's board to respond right away.

Fadl produced remarkable displays in the Egyptian League last season, having scored ten goals to help his team finish second in the standings.
