The English midfielder has failed to secure a regular spot at Anfield since his arrival from Birmingham in 2006, therefore is eager to leave.
"I want to play on a regular basis and my dream is to do that in Spain," Pennant said.
Apart from the lack of appearances, the wide man believes he has what it takes to carve out a name in the Primera Liga.
"My style of play would fit into the Spanish way," he said.
Last week, Spanish newspaper Marca mentioned that Real Madrid want to the run the rule over the 25-year-old by the New Year.
Pennant is reportedly demanding a salary of 3.5 million Euros a year, while Spanish champions are willing to offer him 1.6 million.
