The Brazilian-born marksman could either play for Italy as a naturalized player or Join homeland Brazil, but he hasn't made up his mind thus far.
The 28-year-old said he might eventually snub both sides' approaches, implying that he's not concerned about his international career.
"I could say no to both teams," Amauri told La Repubblica.
"I came to Juventus as a relatively unknown player and so I don't really need international football."
The Azzurri coach Marcello Lippi has already revealed his intention to include Amauri in the squad facing Brazil in an exhibition next February.
Brazil tactician Carlos Dunga is also impressed with the player's capabilities, and wants to call him up to the samba dancers.
"I would like to make things clear because of all the things that many people are saying about me," said Amauri.
"All this talk about my international future annoys me because it's not as if I'm in an auction between Lippi and Carlos Dunga.
"I don't really want to talk about it until I get an official call-up. At that point I will respond and it could be a negative reply."
