"I know that Roma are tracking me and would like to sign me. I would have no problems in moving there, as they are a big club" Podolski told German publication Bunte.
The 24-year-old has been trying in vain to secure a regular spot at German champions Bayern since his arrival in 2006.
Weeks ago, the international forward announced that he's eager to move away from his current club, citing lack of appearances as a reason behind his decision.
"I need to play and cannot keep sitting on the bench," he elaborated. "I am not comfortable staying in Munich anymore and I feel it’s time to leave."
Moreover, Podolski referred that several Premier League clubs are among his suitors, including big-spenders Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
"I think I'm ready for an experience abroad, including Italy, but I know that a number of sides are after me in England too, namely Manchester City and Tottenham," he said.
"My final choice will not be influenced by money, as my only desire is to play, possibly for a big side."
