Ismailia Stadium won't be crowded

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) ordered Ismaili to play their next two league games behind closed doors following crowd trouble against Ahli.

The coastal club were also fined EGP 50,000, according to EFA competitions committee member Amer Barakat.

"The EFA official who was monitoring the game said in his report that Ahli and Ismaili fans share responsibility for what happened," Barakat told FilGoal.com.

Ahli, who defeated Ismaili 1-0 away in Saturday's league game, were fined EGP 150,000.

The match's rhythm was disrupted by continuous crowd troubles during the entire 90 minutes.

Dozens of fireworks and seats were thrown onto the pitch as fans from both sides tried to unsettle the players.

Ahli players rushed into the tunnel right following the final whistle to avoid being hit by a barrage of seats thrown from Ismaili fans.

EFA president Samir recently vowed to crackdown on such unfortunate incidents.

"There will be no room for leniency towards such behavior," he told Al-Hayat TV after the game.

"We will force the clubs of misbehaving fans to play outside their stadiums and without their supporters."
