Harras Hodoud coach Tarek Al-Ashri has named Ghanaian defender William Mensah in the 22-man squad to face Ahli in the Egyptian Cup on Wednesday.

The player was earlier allowed to head back to Ghana for nursing his Achilles injury, which sidelined him for the last three games.

However, Al-Ashri told FilGoal.com that the 27-year-old will be part of the squad to fill the void left by a number of absentees within the Alexandrians' team.

Hodoud's medical staff will be running a fitness test on Monday to check defender Ahmed Assem's availability for the clash, after he received a minor knock in training.

The coastal club enter the Ahli encounter without the suspended Ahmed Salama as well as injured midfielder Mohamed Gouda.
