Despite their strong start to the season, Luiz Felipe Scolari’s men couldn’t hold on to the Premiership summit and are now second in the table behind Liverpool.
"It's in our minds that we dropped some relatively easy points over the last few weeks," Lampard was quoted as saying by the Times.
"Now we’re in a position where we really want to get a result."
The England international added that the media focus on Chelsea’s negative results was unnecessarily increased over the last couple of months.
"The publicity around Chelsea now is that if you drop a few points people jump on it straight away, but Liverpool and United have also dropped points.
Lampard considered that the run for the Premiership title is still far from over.
"No-one has pulled away from us, and Arsenal are still behind us.
"It's the same for everyone, now we're starting all pretty much level. We need to start this part of the season strongly."
