"Ajaccio boss knows me well as I played against his team on more than one occasion. He has shown a great deal of interest in my services," the 27-year-old told FilGoal.com on Friday.
Abou-Mosallam's new suitors have already opened talks with Strasbourg over landing the defender either on a loan or permanent basis.
"I might move to Ajaccio on a six-month loan deal, but sealing a permanent move is not far-fetched either," he added.
The former Ahli defender revealed he's not going to be handed a trial at his destination club, saying that he only needs to complete a medical before sealing the move.
Overtures
Abou-Mosallam was about to sign for Greek side PAOK Saloniki this month, but the latter preferred to land a Portuguese player instead.
He was also approached by Egyptian Premier League clubs Ismaili and Telecom Egypt, but apparently he opted to stay in France.
Second tier Ajaccio lie 18th in the league table, while Strasbourg are competitively in third place.
