Mostafa close to Ahli exit
Police Union are on the verge of landing Ahli midfielder Hassan Mostafa on loan, revealed the former's assistant coach Mohamed Ibrahim.

"Negotiations with Ahli are close to being finalized in a way that satisfies all involved parties," the former Egypt international told FilGoal.com.

During the past few weeks, Mostafa was strongly linked with the Egyptian league debutants, who also showed interest in striker Ahmed Hassan Farag.

However, Farag began to carve out a spot in Manuel Jose's roster, whereas Mostafa is struggling to regain his place in the team.

The 30-year-old spent most of last season on loan with Saudi Arabia's Al-Wehda, where he enjoyed a successful bout.

Duiedar Talks

On the other hand, Ibrahim issued a hands-off warning to Ahli over the latter's interest in defender Ahmed Duiedar.

The promising center-half was believed to be on the shortlist of the African champions, who are in a continual search of a new backline member.

"Duiedar is under contract with Police, and we have no intention of selling him," added Talaat Youssef's assistant.

Duiedar, 20, scored the winner from the spot as Police grabbed a famous 1-0 victory over the league holders back in November.
