Ahli marketing manager Adli Al-Qaeyi refused to comment on speculation linking striker Flavio Amado with a loan move to Shabab of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi newspaper Al-Watan reported on Tuesday that Shabab want to loan the Angolan hitman until the end of the season for €500,000.

What's more, the paper claimed that Ahli have welcomed the bid for the 29-year-old, who scored the winner against Zamalek in last Sunday's derby.

However, Al-Qaeyi refused to reveal any reaction from the Egyptian champions' side, even though he did not rule out the transfer.

"We will not comment on pure speculation," Ahli's transfer commander told FilGoal.com.

"We will not talk about any exports or imports unless a deal is finalized."

Apart from Emad Meteb's ongoing loan spell with Ittihad Jeddah, several Ahli players were targeted by Saudi league outfits in recent months.

Talisman Mohamed Abou-Treika received a hefty bid from Hilal late in 2008, but the Egypt playmaker opted to stay with the Cairo giants.

Defender Wael Gomaa was also rumored to be in link with a Saudi club, while midfielder Hassan Mostafa spent most of last season with Wehda.
